Evening Beaver Watch

Join us for a sunset visit to our Beaver enclosure. This tour runs on a Wednesday and Friday evening only, May-September. Strictly no dogs. Children welcome when accompanied by responsible parent or legal guardian. Come on this peaceful evening walk to catch a sight of one of our iconic residents - the Eurasian Beaver. Our guide will take you to the viewing points where we hope to catch a glimpse of these elusive animals. You will learn about the ecology of the beaver, how and why it has engineered the wetlands at Coombeshead, and what the introduction of the species means to the rewilding project at our centre. Taking place on a Wednesday and Friday evening, starting at 7pm and lasts approximately 2 hours. The meeting point for the start and end of the tour will be at the campsite office visible when you park in the gravel yard.
