Evening with Derek Gow

Enjoy an evening meal in the company of Derek Gow, our founder, author, and determined champion for reversing species decline in the UK. Strictly no dogs allowed. This is an adults-only event and is not suitable for children (under age of 18). Each year we welcome supporters of Rewilding Coombeshead to join our founder Derek Gow for an enjoyable evening meal, with plenty of friendly chat and entertaining stories (told in a way that only our Derek can). We use these fun evenings as a fundraiser, with each ticket sold directly supporting our species recovery projects across the UK. The 'Evening With Derek' event starts from the 'Wild Cat kitchen' barn near our Shepherd Hut yard entrance at 7pm and lasts for approximately 3 hours (or longer, whenever Derek runs out of stories...). We will serve a home-cooked meal to keep you fuelled, and provide a variety of drink options. Please wear suitable foot wear and clothing in case the evening lurches outdoors for a visit to the buffalo or nearby wildcats. There is ample parking at both the Shepherd Hut car park (pictured yellow '1' in map below) and at our Campsite car park (pictured yellow '2' in map below). A short & enjoyable nature trail connects the Campsite car park to Wildcat Kitchen (pictured blue in map below).
