'Intertidal' is an exciting project, which invites you to look at the relationship between our city and the sea. Explore science, technology, engineering, art and maths with bespoke activities linking to our tidal world. Look out for something unexpected appearing near you, as artist, David Cotterell, brings the tide to life, in an artwork that promotes discussion around how water rises and falls in response to the changing tide. These sessions are designed to be playful and responsive, allowing families to move between activities and build on whatever captures their interest on the day. The bespoke Intertidal STEAM Stay and Play sessions take place on Saturday 19 September, Saturday 26 September and Saturday 10 October, from 10.30am–12pm. As part of Tide Together and Sea for Yourself, it's an invitation to look again at the relationship between our city and the sea. The four Ford Fiestas are bringing Plymouth's tide into unexpected places. Intertidal, a new artwork by David Cotterrell commissioned through Sea for Yourself, uses tidal data, engineering and digital technology to make the changing rhythm of Plymouth Sound visible.
