A relaxed, friendly coffee morning for women over 50 in South East Cornwall who'd love to meet other local women and make new friends. Making new friends when you’re over 50 can be really hard. Honestly, where do you go? When we’re younger, friendships often happen naturally. But as we get older, it can become much harder to meet new people, and sometimes our friendship circle gets a little smaller along the way. You might simply find yourself wishing you had a few more women in your life. Someone to message for a coffee. Someone to go for a walk with, have a laugh with, go out for the evening, or just have a really good chat. That’s exactly why I started The Loop Social. I’m Helen, and I’m really excited to be holding our first coffee morning for women in South East Cornwall at the beautiful Stables Cafe on the Port Eliot estate in St. Germans, It’s informal and relaxed - just coffee, and the opportunity to meet, chat and get to know some new women. And if you feel a bit nervous about coming along, please don’t worry. Everyone's feeling similar, and I’ll be there to meet you, introduce you to a few people and help you settle in. Women come to The Loop for all sorts of reasons. Maybe you’ve moved to the area, your friendship circle has changed, or you’d simply love to meet a few more women locally. Whatever your circumstances, we’d love to meet you. The Loop is all about bringing women together - giving you the chance to meet other likeminded women, spend time together and let friendships grow naturally. We have lots of lovely regular events and gatherings - walks, meals out, trips, workshops, evenings out, wellbeing events, book club and plenty more. There's always something in your diary to look forward to, new experiences to try and plently of chances to get involved, meet up and spend time together. The events are what bring us together, but friendship is always at the heart of it. So if you'd love a few more women in your life to share things with, come and have a coffee with us. Take the B3249 towards St Germans, then as you enter the village take the small first left signposted Newport, follow Newport Road to the end and you'll come to The Stables Cafe. If you're coming from the Torpoint/A374 direction, take the B3249 towards St Germans, continue through the village past the church and the Eliot Arms, then turn right into Newport Road. Coming by train The Stables is around a 10 minute walk from St.Germans station, and I'm happy to pick up a few of you from the station and drop you back afterwards if that makes it easier.
