Book launch of Thirst by Ryan Cook & UK premiere of Home Crisis, 25 oil paintings by Chantelle Cook. Talks, wine & viewing. All welcome. The evening Doors open at 6.45pm for a 7.00pm start. Chantelle opens the night with a talk on the making of Home Crisis, followed by an interval with refreshments. Ryan then speaks about Thirst and the longing at the heart of both projects, before a second interval and an unhurried viewing of the exhibition. Wine will be available by donation. Copies of Thirst will be on sale to purchase and have signed on the night, with twenty per cent of the profits going towards clergy care on the Isle of Wight – supporting those who spend themselves in the care of others. Admission is free and everyone is warmly welcome – booking simply helps us plan refreshments and seating. Do bring a friend who knows the ache of longing. This evening is for them too.
