Collaborative Learning & Practice. A hands-on, peer-led session to practice podcasting, video editing, and content creation together. Join us for Media Skills Workshop Saturday! This isn't a traditional classroom or an expert-led lecture—it is a collaborative, peer-to-peer sandbox for local creatives. Whether you want to figure out editing with DaVinci Resolve, get hands-on with our Blackmagic studio setup, practice running a sound desk, or simply troubleshoot a video edit alongside others, this is the space to do it. Bring your laptop, your current project, or just your curiosity, and let's learn from each other in a relaxed, supportive environment. How it Works: • 10:00 AM – Coffee & Game Plan: Arrive on time to grab a coffee and circle up. We will quickly share what skills we each want to practice or troubleshoot that morning. • 10:30 AM – Skill Share & Practice: We break into small groups or pairs to get hands-on. You might spend the session walking through software tutorials together, testing out the studio lighting, or sharing your own tips with someone new to the craft. • 1:00 PM – Wrap Up: We finish up by sharing what we figured out and what we want to tackle at the next one. What’s Included: • Access to the Media Space studio environment and setup • High-speed Wi-Fi (Starlink) • Unlimited tea, coffee, and water. • Use of kitchen and toilet facilities Opposite the Explosion Museum and Powder Monkey Taphouse. Free parking (Explosion Museum Car Park). Walking/cycling route from Gosport Town via the Millennium Bridge or get the E1 bus to Hardway.
