Join Marisa Shearer, Menstrual Health Therapist to optimise your pelvic health, ease discomfort, and cultivate lasting vitality. Join Us for Your Abdominal and Uterine Health! Your Abdominal and Uterine Health focuses on the reproductive system and anatomy. As different as we look on the outside, our internal anatomy is just as unique. This class will help you connect the dots of your own health story through education, exploration and YAM. You will learn this and much more: - How your reproductive organs function. - How to work with your menstrual cycle. - How your uterus relates to its pelvic neighbours. If you don’t see a class date that works for you, please reach out to one of our educators to inquire about setting up a small group class that fits your needs. www.abdominaltherapycollective.com Please Note: Registration for this event closes on the 12th September Nourish your pelvic health, find relief from discomfort, and awaken lasting vitality from within. Are you ready to step into a more empowered relationship with your own healing? This immersive workshop invites you into the world of pelvic wellness and self-care through the gentle, effective practices of Maya Abdominal Therapy, as shared by Dr. Rosita Arvigo. We’ll explore practical ways to support your whole pelvic ecosystem—digestive health, back tension, menstrual balance, fertility, incontinence, emotional wellbeing, and more. While we’ll cover a wide range of pelvic health concerns, I’ll be giving special, dedicated focus to understanding and easing period pain. Having walked my own journey with painful periods, I’ll be sharing the tools and techniques that helped me heal, so you can begin to shift your own experience with your cycle. Whether you’re dealing with period pain or heavy bleeding, living with fibroids or cysts, preparing to conceive, moving through menopause, or simply seeking deeper connection, this work meets you exactly where you are. These teachings also offer profound support for those who have had a hysterectomy, helping restore harmony and awareness to the pelvic space. Through guided abdominal and pelvic massage, a grounded look at anatomy, simple ritual, and the ancestral wisdom of the Maya tradition, we’ll create a nurturing environment where you can reconnect with your body’s innate intelligence. As you soften tension and tune back into your womb (or womb space) you’ll begin to feel renewed energy, deeper self-love, and greater ease throughout your body. This class gives you practical, heartfelt tools to care for your pelvic wellbeing for years to come, helping you feel more present, more alive, and more connected to yourself. The possibilities for healing are truly expansive. About your educator: Hello, I’m Marisa — mother of two daughters and a Menstrual Health Therapist dedicated to supporting girls and women in understanding and reclaiming their bodies. My work weaves together the healing benefits of Abdominal Therapy, the deep self-knowing that comes through Menstrual Cycle Awareness, and the body literacy gained from Fertility Awareness. I support women who want to understand their cycles, heal imbalances, reconnect with their wombs, and naturally avoid pregnancy. I am honoured to meet women at some of the most vulnerable points in their lives — moments of hopelessness, frustration, or feeling like surgery or hormonal birth control are their only remaining options. Witnessing their transformation in body, mind, and spirit as we work together is one of the greatest privileges of my life. Saving uteruses from unnecessary hysterectomies and empowering women to trust, honour, and take pride in their naturally cycling bodies is at the heart of my mission. Everything I teach is rooted in my own lived experience. These teachings helped me heal heavy and painful periods, release birth trauma, uncover gut imbalances, and chart a path back to vitality. They’ve given me the confidence to navigate my health with clarity and to avoid pregnancy naturally through fertility awareness. I am deeply grateful to teach Abdominal Therapy. This work supports the entire body through gentle, precise techniques for the abdomen, pelvis, and spine. Within this therapy are keys that help us reach the root causes of imbalance and cultivate long-term, radiant health and vitality. I live in the Hampshire countryside in the UK with my husband, our two daughters, and our miniature dachshund. I travel often to the land of my birth and childhood — Zambia — which remains a deep source of grounding and connection for me. I love getting lost in a good novel, restoring myself in nature, and finding joy through salsa dancing, swimming, yoga, and sipping tea with friends.
