Coastal Wealth - Bridlington Edition

Join us for a memorable, community focused, family-friendly day at Bridlington Beach exploring faith, community and belonging. Coastal Wealth - Bridlington Edition What happens when people of different faiths, beliefs and backgrounds come together with a shared purpose? We’re bringing together families, young people, local residents and people of different faiths, beliefs and backgrounds from across Yorkshire for a day rooted in shared action, meaningful connections and collective care for our coastline. Coastal Wealth is an SVH Inc. CIC initiative that brings inland and coastal communities together through volunteering, collaboration, conversations and a shared meal. This special interfaith edition of Coastal Wealth explores Faith, Community & Belonging. This Bridlington edition is proudly delivered in partnership with Harrogate Islamic Association. Supported by the Faith & Belief Forum, Yorkshire Housing, HADCA Power of 10, and the Royal Commonwealth Society. Expect more than litter picking. What to expect: ● Coastal litter pick: Starting at South Beach, we’ll work towards North Beach, removing litter along the coastline. All equipment is provided. ● Community connections: Meet people from different faiths, cultures and backgrounds in a relaxed, family-friendly setting. ● Lunch together: Enjoy a well-earned lunch at Oh My Cod, included for all registered participants. ● A little something extra: Bridlington’s annual Ice Trail takes place the same day, so enjoy the ice trail as we litterpick along the beach. Who is it for?: Everyone is welcome, regardless of faith or belief. Whether you follow a faith or none, you’re invited to take part. Come alone, with friends, as a family or with your community group. No experience is needed, but everyone is expected to take part in the litter pick. Come ready to get stuck in.
