FREE Family Activity Day, Eastrop Park, Basingstoke

Take part in river related craft activities, explore a river sample to find out about the invertebrate life that calls the River Loddonits home and take part in a litter pick around to prevent litter getting into the river. You’ll be part of practical action that supports wildlife, flood resilience and healthier rivers, with guidance from our team throughout. What to expect • Fun craft activities • Information and support from the SERT team • A chance to learn more about river and the creatures that call it home • An opportunity to take action No previous experience needed. Suitable for all ages. Children need to be supervised at all times. What to bring • Sturdy boots or wellies • Weather-appropriate clothing We’ll provide all equipment and gloves for those wanting to take part in a litter pick around the park.
