Parrish began his professional motorcycle racing career in 1976, achieving major success as the 1978 500cc British Champion and securing multiple domestic titles before retiring from bikes in 1986. He then pivoted to an incredibly dominant truck racing career—ultimately becoming the most successful truck racer ever with numerous British and European titles—while simultaneously managing the UK Yamaha factory race team to three British Superbike championships. Today, Parrish is a well-known motorsport commentator for networks like the BBC and ITV4, an author, and an expert witness who consults on motor racing incidents. As you know, we don't charge for these evenings, but a lot of work goes into them, so as last time, we will have the Essex & Herts Air Ambulance in attendance and would ask for a donation if possible to this amazing charity. Café 1989 will also be open throughout the evening, serving food and drinks.
