Holy Moly featuring Bethany Goodwill!

Poems about cars, bastards, and bastards in cars. And so much more from Big Trouble's Beth! Plus our regular open mic. Join us at the revitalised Mole Hole for the return of Holy Moly Spoken Word! We are delighted to be able to continue hosting this event at Gravesend's finest pub, and who better to help celebrate than Bethany Goodwill? Beth has been hosting Medway's excellent poetry night Big Trouble for yonks, along with poetry power-couple partner David Dykes. We tend to get tantalising glimpses of what Beth can do, so I am very much looking forward to seeing a full set. More on Beth, from Beth: Bethany Goodwill is an artist, poet, and co-host of Rochester poetry night Big Trouble. Her work has been published in Confluence, anti heroin chic and The Menteur, and she has been described as "the greatest car-based poet of our times" and "a toad in women's clothing". She likes Earl Grey tea, cats, the winter, and spicy food. Before Beth, we will have a few open mic sections for poetry, spoken word, short stories and the like. No need to book in advance, just sign up on the night to read three poems, or the prose equivalent. Entry is free but you can support us with an optional ticket.
