Beyond the Drawing Board (the other lives of an architectural degree)

Architectural practice isn't the only outcome of an architecture degree but can provide a strong foundation for many more careers. There’s a familiar idea of what happens after architecture school: join a practice, work towards Part 3, and start building your career as an architect. But that is only one of many possible routes. This evening, we’ll hear from people who trained in architecture and went on to build careers in different ways, to share their experience and talk about how they got there. Speakers: • Niralee Casson, Associate Partner, Technical Expert Witnesses at Ridge and Partners. • Olivia Gillam, Project Manager at Gardiner & Theobald. • Dr Julie Futcher, Chartered architect, urban climatologist and independent researcher • Machiko Wilson, Director of Human Truths, Interbrand Japan Strategy Group Host: Taisiia-Lukiia Sakhuriia (ELAG) Want to hear about more events like this one?
