Antenatal Infant Feeding Workshop

Antenatal Infant Feeding Workshop- Ketley Community Centre. Trained peer supporters help you feel more confident, prepared and informed. Our Workshops Whether you're expecting your first baby or are a more experienced parent this workshop is perfect for you. Our in person sessions give you the opportiunity to have a practical discussion about infant feeding and meet other local parents/parents to be. This workshop is for people living in Telford & Wrekin and covers all aspects of infant feeding, including establishing breastfeeding and safe formula feeding. We will also look at the benefits of skin to skin, responsive feeding, understanding normal baby behaviour, the benefits of breastfeeding, breastmilk collection and support that is available to you and your family. Support partners are welcome, and encouraged to attend this session. It should last approx. 2.5 hours and will include a comfort break. Please ensure that you 5-10 minutes before is scheduled to start as we will be startimg promptly. The workshop is suitable for antenatal families, if you baby arrives prior to the session please let us know and we can signpost you to the most effective and appropriate support These sessions have been funded under the Family Hubs project with Telford & Wrekin Council and open to anyone living within Telford & Wrekin. The information you enter on the booking form will be used for reporting purposed for the Telford & Wrekin Council.
