Join us for the Heywoods Movember Hike 2026—like previous events but better! Heywoods Movember Hike 2026 🥾Good mates. Fresh air. A decent brew. All for a great cause. We're back for our 4th annual Heywoods Movember Hike, and this year we're hoping to make it our biggest and best yet! What started as a simple idea to get a few lads together for a walk, a chat and a good cause has grown into a brilliant annual tradition, bringing together men from across Staffordshire to support Movember and raise awareness of men's mental and physical health. And this year, we're on a mission to smash our £10,000 total fundraising target! 💙 What's the plan? 📍 Meeting point: The Boat Inn, 170 Basford Bridge Lane, Cheddleton 🕘 Arrival: 9:00am ☕ Breakfast on us: Enjoy a free breakfast bap and brew, kindly sponsored by Heywoods. 🥾 The hike: After a quick introduction, we'll head off on a leisurely two-hour walk along the canal and through the beautiful Staffordshire countryside. No hiking experience required, just a decent pair of shoes! 🍻 The debrief: We'll finish back at The Boat Inn for a well-earned pint, a chat and a chance to catch up with old friends and make some new ones. Why are we doing it? Movember is about more than growing a moustache. It's about tackling some of the biggest issues affecting men's health, including mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer. Sometimes the best conversations happen when you're walking side by side, rather than sitting face to face. Our hike is an opportunity to get outdoors, have a laugh, check in with one another and raise money for a cause that matters.
