Lindow Moss Poetry Walk - Celebration of Pippa Jones

Join us for a day of poetry to celebrate the story of Lindow Moss and the life of Pippa Jones. Join poets Estelle Price and Anthony Jones on a poetry walk across Lindow Moss with distinguished ecologists John Handley, Anna Gilcrist, Simon Caporn and actor David Reynolds. The poets will tell the story of Lindow Moss, celebrate the life of Pippa, and explain all that has been collectively achieved across Lindow, including the restoration. Pippa was a committed eco champion and gardener, who worked tirelessly for the restoration of Lindow Moss and was instrumental in setting up the Friends of Lindow Moss and the Lindow Moss Loop walk. The walk will start and end at the railway sleeper, halfway up Rotherwood Road and will be a slow and steady roughly 3km loop, with lots of stops. The route takes in the new boardwalk that overlooks the Lindow Man find site. The path is uneven and muddy so wellies / walking boots are advised! We also can't promise perfect weather, so please dress acordingly.
