A gentle walk following Ford Green Brook south to Holden Pools and finding out what wildlife and plants we can spot and record using either i-Naturalist or i-record app. Beginners and enthusiasts are welcome. Please do dress for the weather and wear footwear suitable for muddy and uneven paths. Much of the route is on tarmac and we can adapt the route for those using a wheelchair or mobility aid. There is a café and toilet at Ford Green Hall. Buses stop along Ford Green Road (8, 8A, 24, 60, 62, 90, 98). There is free parking at Whitfield Valley Nature Reserve car park next to Ford Green Hall. If you have any questions, please do email [email protected] We can pay travel expenses for those people signing up a volunteers. Please note we cannot pay travel expenses on the day or in cash.
