The Light Within: A Shamanic Yule Journey

A mystical Yule evening of reflection, drum journey, sound healing and ritual. Honour the darkness and reconnect to your inner light. The Light Within: A Shamanic Yule Journey Even in the darkest season, your light has never gone out. As winter draws us into its darker days, nature invites us to slow down, retreat, rest and replenish. Yet in the busyness of everyday life, particularly at this time of year, how often do we give ourselves permission to do the same? Join Ali & Lou for a gentle, mystical evening inspired by the ancient traditions of Yule and the wisdom of winter. Together, we'll explore the beauty of the darker season — not as something to fear or escape, but as a time of stillness, nourishment and quiet renewal. Just as a winter tree stands with bare branches, its roots remain strong and its life continues beneath the surface. And so does our own inner light. What to expect A ritual of rest and reflection Through a simple, symbolic stone ritual, you'll be invited to lay down what you've been carrying — the worries, responsibilities and expectations — and give yourself permission to pause. A guided shamanic drum journey Travel inward through an ancient winter woodland, connecting with the wisdom of the trees, the stillness of the earth and the gentle light that has always lived within you. Immersive sound healing Rest and receive as Ali and Lou weave together a nurturing sound experience, offering space for stillness and reflection. A personal Yule log ritual At the close of the evening, you'll be invited to breathe the light, wisdom or intention you've connected with into a small Yule log. Take your log home as a reminder to nurture your inner light throughout the winter months. An invitation to simply be There is nothing to achieve, nothing to prove and nowhere else you need to be. Just two hours to step away from the outside world, honour the wisdom of winter and reconnect with yourself. No previous experience of meditation, drumming or spiritual practices is necessary. Thursday 3 December 2026 | 7pm–9pm Even an ember is still fire. We look forward to sharing this magical evening with you. With love, Ali & Lou
