Community Wellbeing Drumming session for the 3rd sector

Our Wellbeing Drumming session for the 3rd sector is free afternoon to connect with others, and drum away some stress! Our Community Wellbeing Drumming session is a free opportunity for those involved in the 3rd sector, charities, CIC etc to come together, connect and drum away some stress. We have worked with many groups over the years and wanted to give something back as a little thank you, whilst also introducing people to what we do at One Heart Drummers. Community drumming has been proved to be a great activity that benefits the whole body as well as enhancing wellbeing and emotional or mental health. We have seen this happen in our drumming sessions so we wanted to provide a little taster of that. The afternoon will feature refreshments, networking opportunities, community drumming, percussion and music making, a short presentation about One Heart Drummers and its all free! All equipment will be provided with additional aids to make sure the session is fully accessible. We do ask that all participants remove rings when drumming to avoid damage to both the rings and the drums and ask that everyone wears comfortable clothing, and trousers or leggings. A quick warning, you may get warm drumming, and the occasional outburst of laughter has been known to happen at a drumming session!
