From preserving seasonal produce to making the most of leftovers, the Bridgend Sustainable Food Partnership is supporting a series of autumn workshops to help local people build practical food skills. Delivered in partnership with local organisations and food businesses, the sessions will cover low-waste cooking, fermentation, preserving, growing and festive baking. Whether you are looking to stretch your food budget, learn a new kitchen skill or become more confident growing and preparing your own food, there is something for everyone. Join us on at The Pantri Box where we will be in the expert hands of Angharad from award-winning The Preservation Society… We will be getting Christmas-ready, making chutney or mincemeat - guaranteed liven up your Christmas table or make delicious gifts! This free event is funded by the Bridgend Food Partnership - working to build a good food movement across Bridgend County. All ingredients will be provided.
