RSAW Large Practice Network: Reflections on Penderyn Copperwork Restoration

Reflect on the award-winning Penderyn Copperworks project through a panel discussion, guided tour and networking. Outline programme As part of RSAW Design Week, the Large Practice Network invites you to an evening of reflection, insight and celebration at the award-winning Penderyn Copperworks Distillery in Swansea. Three years on from the completion of this landmark restoration and redevelopment project, this event will bring together the key voices behind its success to explore the journey from initial concept through to delivery and operation. Through a panel discussion we hope to share a unique 360-degree perspective on the challenges, opportunities and lessons learned throughout the project. The discussion will examine the collaborative processes that helped transform a significant industrial heritage site into a vibrant contemporary destination, while highlighting the value of partnership working across multiple disciplines and stakeholders. Following the panel session, guests will have the opportunity to take part in a guided tour of the Copperworks, offering a closer look at the project and its architectural significance. The evening will conclude with a networking reception and refreshments in the Tasting Bar!
