Sound and Supper for Sophie, a sound bath fundraiser in The Loft, Neath

At 22 she was told there was nothing more. Then they found something. £110,000, not on the NHS. So we fill a room and we stand with her Sound and Supper for Sophie An evening of sound and supper with award winning Yoga Junkie, raising funds for Sophie, 22, fighting stage 4 bowel cancer. Join us at The Loft for an evening of sound, supper and community, raising money for Sophie. Sophie is 22. In July 2025, she was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer. She came through six months of chemotherapy and three major surgeries, and earlier this year, she was given the wonderful news that she was all clear. Just four months later, the cancer returned. This time, Sophie and her family have been faced with limited treatment options. But Sophie is still fighting. Her family and friends have found a treatment option here in the UK that could offer her more hope than the standard treatment currently available to her through the NHS. However, this treatment is not funded by the NHS and comes at a cost of £110,000. That is what this evening is for. We are coming together to raise funds to give Sophie the opportunity to access this treatment and, most importantly, to give her another option and more hope for the future. Every ticket purchased, every donation made, every raffle ticket purchased and every person who walks into the room that evening will be contributing towards something incredibly important. This is about community. It is about hope. It is about showing a young woman and her family that they do not have to face this alone. So thank you for being part of it. Thank you for showing up. Thank you for supporting Sophie. And thank you for helping us do everything we can to give her access to another possible path forward. What the evening looks like Doors open at 6pm. You will be welcomed in, settled on a mat with a blanket, and taken through a full sound experience with gongs, crystal and alchemy bowls, chimes, drums, shruti box and the powerful human voice. Nothing is required of you but to lie down, and let the sound do the work. Then nobody goes home. Supper is served, while the quiet is still on everyone. Home-made soulful soup, torn sourdough still warm, and a wedge of cheddar. Simple food, eaten slowly, with people who came for the same reason you did. That second part is the point. Most evenings like this end with everyone reaching for their coat before the last note has faded. This one does not. No experience needed. You do not need to be flexible, spiritual, or anything in particular. You need a comfortable layer and a willingness to be in a room with people who care. Who is holding the evening Led by Debbbie Robinson (Yoga Junkie) Deb was named Yoga Instructor of the Year Wales at the 2026 Prestige Awards, and Yoga Junkie has been recognised as Best Holistic Wellness Studio South Wales at the 2026 UK Enterprise Awards and Best Yoga and Pilates Studio Wales by Muddy Stilettos in 2026. Her signature sound experiences sell out every time they run. Many years of teaching, and a practice built out of her own life rather than out of a manual. That is what you will feel in the room. What to bring A blanket, warm layers and water. Bring your own yoga mat, eye cover/mask, pillow, bolster and blanket. We will have some, but with 100 of us in the room we won't have enough.
