A place where you can build confidence through public speaking. Develop leadership skills and/or simply conquer your fear of speaking. Swindon Speakers Club- a fun and interactive public speaking experience! The Swindon Speakers Club is a friendy, small-ish but growing group of individuals, from all walks of life, who challenge themselves to become better speakers and /or leaders. Thanks to support and encouragement, we improve through practice and evaluations. Whether you're a seasoned speaker or just starting out, our friendly and supportive environment is perfect for honing your skills and for personal development! We meet at the Bowman House Business Centre in Royal Wootton Bassett, Swindon UK, usually, on the first and third Thursday of the month at 7:15pm for a 7:30 start and finish around 9:30pm.(Except for July and August) There’s no pressure to speak, only encouragement. A usual meeting features: Prepared speeches (around 8 mins each) A 15 min break Evaluation of the speeches to help members improve A less formal topics session so everyone gets the chance to speak for 2-3 mins. You can attend 2 meetings FREE of charge before deciding whether you want to become a member for £45/year or £25 if you join after January. When you have booked, we will send you an agenda a few days before the meeting, with a clickable link to a map, in case that's helpful.
