About this event
You don't need to do anything tonight. That's the point. There's a kind of tired that isn't about hours of sleep. It's the tired of being the one everyone leans on, the one who remembers everything, who has to be okay so the people around her can be. It builds so quietly you stop noticing you're carrying it, until you can't quite remember what it feels like to just be, not manage, not hold, not perform fine. You're not broken. You're just overdue for permission to put it down. This 90-minute session is built to hand you that permission. Gong and crystal bowls work together in one continuous sound journey, each instrument doing something the other can't. The gong moves through the body in deep, rolling waves, reaching the places where tension has quietly settled in, while the crystal bowls follow with precision, clearing the mental residue and bringing the nervous system into genuine stillness. You don't have to be the strong one in this room. You don't have to be anything. Just lie down and let the sound hold what you've been holding. This session is for you if You're always the one everyone else leans on, and you can't remember the last time someone held space for you. You want to leave feeling like yourself again, not just less tired. You're craving rest that isn't scrolling, isn't a nap you feel guilty for, but something that actually reaches you. What to expect Phase 1: Arrival & Settling. We begin with a few slow, grounding breaths, easing the tension held in the shoulders, neck, and chest before we drop into the depth of the room. Phase 2: Gong & Crystal Bowl Sound Journey. Lying down comfortably, you move through 90 minutes of continuous sound. The crystal bowls open first, their clear tones easing you into depth. The gong follows, its full-spectrum waves rolling through bone, tissue, and fascia, reaching the places where tiredness actually lives. The crystal bowls return to close, clearing the mental residue and settling the nervous system into genuine stillness. The exact shape shifts slightly session to session, but there's nothing to guide and nothing to follow. You simply receive it. Phase 3: Gentle Return & Integration. The session closes with soft, grounding tones that bring your awareness back gently. You leave feeling like yourself again, the version of you with room to breathe. Arrive 15 minutes early to settle in. Wear comfortable clothing. Mats and blankets are provided; feel free to bring your own eye mask and water bottle. Why it works The relaxation response, measured. A 2023 randomized controlled trial from Austral University of Chile found that after 45 minutes of singing bowl sound, participants' heart rate variability, a physiological marker of how relaxed the body is, rose significantly more than with standard muscle relaxation exercises. In other words, by the time you're lying down and listening, your body is already shifting out of tension. Sound settles mood and tension. A 2017 study published in the Journal of Evidence-Based Complementary & Alternative Medicine followed 62 participants through a singing bowl sound meditation and found significant drops in tension, anger, fatigue, and low mood. It's part of why people often describe their mind as feeling quieter once the sound stops. Reaches deep, from the inside out. The gong's full-spectrum waves move through bone, tissue, and fascia, reaching layers of tension that rest and sleep alone often can't release. That's the physical basis for what many describe as being gently massaged by sound. Two instruments, one complete result. The gong loosens, the crystal bowls settle. Together they reach what neither could reach alone, so the body and mind rest at the same time. Looking for a Different Time or Private Session? Can’t make this scheduled time?
