Bealtaine Gathering 2026

The Gathering is an annual event which brings together Bealtaine Festival's local and national partners, organisers and artists. Age & Opportunity is delighted to announce that tickets for the 2026 Bealtaine Gathering are now on sale. This annual event, which brings together Bealtaine event organisers, stakeholders, and the wider arts and ageing sector, will take place on Wednesday 14 October 2026 from 10:30am to 4:00pm at the National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks. We are excited to confirm that Rita Ann Higgins, one of Ireland’s most acclaimed poets, will join us as a special guest speaker. The Gathering will also feature case studies and a panel that will explore aspects of inclusion in their work. We welcome the participation of all those engaged in the arts and ageing sector and those involved Bealtaine over the years or are newly engaging with its mission.
