The event will be moderated by CIPD Committee Member Shane O’Brien and HR Business Partner, Mars Meet the team bringing the mock hearing to life Mary Brassil, Partner, McCann FitzGerald LLP Mary Brassil is a Partner at McCann FitzGerald, specialising in employment, equality and industrial relations law. She has considerable experience in advising domestic and international clients on the employment law aspects of corporate transactions, restructuring and redundancy programmes. Her practice includes representing employers in contentious employment law disputes. She advises on all matters arising out of the employer-employee relationship (such as drafting and negotiating contracts of employment, advising on the implementation of appropriate HR policies and procedures and advising on termination of employment and restrictive covenants). Mary also has significant experience of advising clients in the financial sector on executive remuneration. David McCauley, Senior Associate, McCann FitzGerald LLP David advises private and public-sector clients on both contentious and non-contentious aspects of employment law. He has extensive experience advising clients before the WRC, Labour Court and Superior Courts, as well as through mediation. David’s practice includes advising on all complex employment investigations, processes and disputes as well as corporate restructurings, business transfers, outsourcings and redundancy situations..
