Learn how to love your clothes for longer! A quick fix master class, where you'll learn simple techniques to be able to repair your clothes! STITCH & TRANSFORM: KEYRING MAKING FREE WORKSHOP PENNEYS | GALWAY Learn beginner-friendly embroidery techniques and discover how decoration can become a creative way to repair, transform and personalise your clothes. Join textile artist Orla Kelly for a 90-minute hands-on workshop, no previous sewing experience required! We’ll begin with basic hand stitches and examples of how they can be used in your own wardrobe, before experimenting with embroidery on provided fabrics. You’ll explore how colour, pattern, and stitching can turn a repair into something personal and intentional, and create your own embroidered keyring to take home. All attendees will get a re-useable tote bag and a sewing kit so that they can put what they learned into practice at home! We’ll provide everything you need to take part!
