The Art of Looking: A Culture Night event

Join artist Annette Colleran in Cafe Link, Ballybane for a relaxed evening of refreshments and exploring ways to 'read' stories within art. Places are limited so booking is essential The Art of Looking is a welcoming cafe-based evening for people who enjoy art but don’t consider themselves experts. Together, we will explore selected artworks and learn about ways to look more closely, notice details, and delve into stories those artworks can reveal. This is not an art history talk. It is an informal social event for adults who enjoy a relaxed evening, and an opportunity to engage with artworks in a different way. During the evening we will: • explore three artworks together through guided observation • discover how artworks can reveal stories • enjoy tasty refreshments provided by Cafe Link No previous art knowledge is required.
