Dr. Colman Noctor - Mind Your Mind - A Conversation that Matters

Clare Suicide Bereavement Support presents a talk by renowned psychotherapist, author, and mental health commentator Dr. Colman Noctor. Clare Suicide Bereavement Support offers support to people of all ages who have experienced loss or been impacted by suicide, whether recently or in the past. When someone dies by suicide, whether it's a family member, friend, peer or someone in your community, it can be difficult to talk about what happened or express how it’s affecting you. Our organisation offers a welcoming space for people to talk with trained listeners, known as befrienders, in a supportive, safe, and confidential environment. Sessions can take place at our Centre in Innovation House, Roslevan Centre, on the Tulla Road, in Ennis or, when preferred, we can arrange to meet at the person’s home, a space in your local community or in a café for a coffee. The Roslevan location is discreet, as visitors might be attending for various appointments like dental or physiotherapy services, and there is ample parking available. Taking this step is courageous, and you’re welcome to bring someone along; they can wait in a nearby room while you receive support. The service is completely free and available for as long as needed. You have full control over each session, choosing its length and deciding how long you’d like to continue receiving support.
