Elmore Quartet al Tempio Voltiano Concerto dell'Elmore Quartet al Tempio Voltiano (Como) Vincitori della 74ª Royal Over-Seas League International Music Competition, l’Elmore Quartet si sta rapidamente affermando come uno dei principali quartetti britannici della propria generazione. Ricopre attualmente il ruolo di Hans Keller Chamber Fellows presso la Guildhall School of Music and Drama, dopo una fellowship alla Royal Northern College of Music dove ha insegnato musica da camera a studenti triennali e magistrali. Negli ultimi tre anni, l’Elmore Quartet ha registrato più volte per BBC Radio 3 e si è esibito in prestigiose sale da concerto nel Regno Unito e in Europa, tra cui la Wigmore Hall, Kings Place a Londra, il Brighton Dome e la Bridgewater Hall. Nel 2024 ha ottenuto il Terzo Premio alla 13ª edizione del Premio Paolo Borciani, la competizione internazionale per quartetti d’archi di Reggio Emilia. Sempre nel 2024, il Quartetto è stato selezionato come primo ensemble residente della Penzance MusicAbility Foundation, in collaborazione con il Frost Trust. Questo incarico triennale consente al Quartetto di integrarsi nella comunità della Cornovaglia occidentale attraverso concerti regolari nella serie Concerts Penzance, attività nelle scuole locali e iniziative per avvicinare nuovi pubblici alla musica classica. Tra i riconoscimenti ottenuti figurano premi dal Tunnell Trust e dalla Kirckman Concert Society, oltre a un recente invito a entrare nel roster dei Philip and Dorothy Green Young Artists. Nell’agosto 2026 il Quartetto intraprenderà il suo primo viaggio intercontinentale a Montreal, avendo ottenuto un posto alla McGill String Quartet Academy. Tra i progetti futuri si annunciano inoltre l’uscita di un album con Rubicon Classics nell’autunno 2026 e ulteriori registrazioni discografiche con Heritage Records nei prossimi anni. English version Concert of Elmore Quartet at Tempio Voltiano (Como) Winners of the 74th Royal Over-Seas League International Music Competition, the Elmore Quartet are quickly gaining recognition as one of the leading British Quartets of their generation. They hold the position of Hans Keller Chamber Fellows at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, following a Fellowship position at the Royal Northern College of Music teaching chamber music to Undergraduate and Postgraduate students. Over the past three years, the Elmore Quartet have recorded multiple times for BBC Radio 3 andperformed at esteemed venues throughout the UK and Europe, including Wigmore Hall, Kings Place London, Brighton Dome and Bridgewater Hall. In 2024, they were awarded Third Prize at the 13th edition of the Premio Paolo Borciani International String Quartet Competition in Reggio Emilia, Italy.​ In 2024, the Elmores were selected as Penzance MusicAbility Foundation’s first resident String Quartet in partnership with the Frost Trust. This three-year position allows the Quartet to integrate themselves into West Cornwall’s unique community by performing regularly as part of the Concerts Penzance concert series, working with local schools, and utilising their passion for sharing classical music with new audiences.​ Their successes include awards from the Tunnell Trust and the Kirckman Concert Society Award and a recent invitation to join the roster of Philip and Dorothy Green Young Artists. In August 2026, the Elmores will be embarking on their first cross-continental trip to Montreal, having accepted a place in the McGill String Quartet Academy.
