Supertempesta by Noemi Biasetton, Krisis Publishing

Frakas hosts the book launch of Supertempesta with the author Noemi Biasetton in conversation with Silvia Sfligiotti The Superstorm is a conceptual and narrative metaphor that describes the evolution of the relationship between political communication and new media—a trajectory culminating in today’s turbulent Western political visual culture. Within this vortex, complex and unpredictable events intertwine, as politics blurs with entertainment and communication is filtered through algorithms, memes, and alternative realities. From the first televised debates to algorithms, memes and alternative realities, Noemi Biasetton traces sixty years of Western political visual culture and asks how designers can rethink their role within the political sphere.
