L'Università di Padova incontra il CNR

L'incontro si apre con una sessione istituzionale nel corso della quale la rettrice dell’Università di Padova Daniela Mapelli e il presidente del CNR Andrea Lenzi dialogano sulle sfide attuali per le due istituzioni e per la ricerca italiana ed europea. A seguire, una sessione scientifica propone gli interventi dei rappresentanti, tra cui alcuni dei direttori e delle direttrici, dei sette Dipartimenti del CNR sui temi: Scienze del sistema terra e tecnologie per l’ambiente, Scienze bio-agroalimentari, Scienze chimiche e tecnologie dei materiali, Scienze fisiche e tecnologie della materia, Scienze biomediche, Ingegneria, ICT e tecnologie per l’energia e i trasporti, Scienze umane e sociali, patrimonio culturale. Le presentazioni sono l’occasione per illustrare la forte collaborazione tra l’Università di Padova e il CNR, approfondendo sia le attività attualmente in corso sia le prospettive e le iniziative future. L'evento, condotto e moderato dal giornalista Francesco Suman, si chiude infine con un dibattito aperto con il pubblico in sala. EN: A meeting between representatives of the University of Padua and the National Research Council (CNR) takes place at Palazzo del Bo. Organized by the Unipd-CNR Joint Committee, the event aims to strengthen mutual understanding between the two institutions and foster the development of new and potential collaborations. The meeting opens with an institutional session during which the Rector of the University of Padua, Daniela Mapelli, and the President of the CNR, Andrea Lenzi, discuss current challenges for both institutions and for Italian and European research. Following this, a scientific session features presentations by representatives, including several directors, from the seven CNR Departments on the following topics: Earth System Science and Environmental Technologies, Agriculture and Food Sciences, Chemical Sciences and Materials Technology, Physical Sciences and Technologies of Matter, Biomedical Sciences, Engineering, ICT and Technologies for Energy and Transportation, and Human and Social Sciences, Cultural Heritage. The presentations provide an opportunity to highlight the strong collaboration between the University of Padua and the CNR, examining both ongoing activities and future prospects and initiatives. Hosted and moderated by journalist Francesco Suman, the event concludes with an open discussion with the audience.
