Tra le band simbolo del punk SoCal anni 90. I Lagwagon nascono a Goleta, California, nel 1990, prima come Section 8. Nel 1992 il debutto DUH con Joey Cape alla voce. Seguono TRASHED (1994) e HOSS (1995).Negli anni la formazione cambia più volte: entra Dave Raun alla batteria, poi Chris Rest alla chitarra per LET'S TALK ABOUT FEELINGS (1998). Nel 2005 esce RESOLVE, dedicato all'ex batterista Derrick Plourde.Restano una colonna di Fat Wreck Chords. Ultimi album: HANG (2014) e RAILER (2019).
