TERMINI ESCAPE

Indossando i visori, i partecipanti entrano in una sala d’archivio temporale dove pareti, arredi e oggetti reali diventano parte del gioco. Tra ambienti digitali ricostruiti, indizi e frammenti storici, il gruppo dovrà collaborare per ricomporre una frattura temporale e scoprire i legami nascosti tra archeologia, architettura e patrimonio ferroviario: non una semplice visita, ma un gioco di squadra per esplorare, osservare e risolvere enigmi. Sotto la stazione, attraversata ogni giorno da quasi 500 mila persone, si conservano le tracce di una città scomparsa. Scavi archeologici, edifici storici e documenti d’epoca permettono oggi di ricostruire l’evoluzione dell’area, dalle Terme di Diocleziano alla stazione ferroviaria moderna, fino alla Cabina Apparati Centrali Elettrici (ACE). Il percorso di Termini Escape accompagna i visitatori alla scoperta di questi luoghi e delle trasformazioni che hanno segnato la storia di Piazza dei Cinquecento. Attività inclusa nel costo del biglietto. É necessario munirsi del biglietto di ingresso al Museo per poter accedere alla Escape. Durante l’attività si indossano visori di Mixed Reality: si consiglia di non indossare cappelli o altri accessori che possano ostacolare il corretto posizionamento del visore. Un progetto di Fondazione FS Italiane con Museo Nazionale Romano Progettazione e allestimento: Effenove srls -------------- Developed through a collaboration between Fondazione FS Italiane and the National Roman Museum, and created by Effenove srls, Termini Escape is a phygital Mixed Reality 3D escape room that transforms the history of the Rome Termini area into an immersive, collaborative, and engaging experience. By wearing Mixed Reality headsets, participants enter a temporal archive room where real walls, furniture, and objects become part of the game. Through digitally reconstructed environments, clues, and historical fragments, the team must work together to repair a fracture in time and uncover the hidden connections between archaeology, architecture, and railway heritage. More than a simple visit, it is a team-based adventure that invites players to explore, observe, and solve puzzles. Beneath the station, crossed every day by nearly 500,000 people, lie the remains of a vanished city. Archaeological excavations, historic buildings, and archival documents now make it possible to reconstruct the evolution of the area, from the Baths of Diocletian to the modern railway station and the Central Electrical Signal Box (ACE). Termini Escape guides visitors through these places and the transformations that have shaped the history of Piazza dei Cinquecento. Practical information • Duration: approximately 30–40 minutes • Participants: up to 4 people at a time • Age: recommended for ages 13 and over • Access: included with the Museum admission ticket, subject to prior booking • Opening hours: from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. • Language: Italian: 11:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., and 5:00 p.m.; English: 10:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m. The activity is included with the Museum admission ticket. A valid Museum admission ticket is required to take part in the escape room. During the activity, participants will wear Mixed Reality headsets.
