Prompt2Screen - AI Cinema Hackaton by VIA

Turin's first AI filmmaking hackathon comes as an official side event of Italian Tech Week. For one day, creators, technologists and storytellers will come together to turn ideas into cinema, powered entirely by KREA AI and ElevenLabs. Participants will build an original AI short film, commercial, or visual piece from scratch, working on their own project, guided by a set of surprise categories revealed on the day. During the afternoon everyone is welcome to join inspiring panels and talks featuring leading voices from the industry but also to discover the best films created during the hackathon and celebrate the winners at the final awards ceremony or during the networking aperitif! Timetable 09:00 - Doors open 👋🏻Grab a coffee, meet your fellow builders and get set up before the hackathon starts. 09:30 - Categories revealed 👀Hackathon categories are announced after a brief initial presentation. 10:00 - Build 🛠️The challenge officially kicks off. From this moment, it's all prompts, tools, and creative chaos. 13:00 - Lunch 🍕Take a break, refuel and connect with fellow creators over lunch. Or just keep building. It’s up to you. 17:30 - Final submission 🎬After a whole day crafting AI-generated short film, commercial or visual piece, it's time to submit the masterpieces! 18:00 - Panels 🎤Hear from voices at the intersection of AI and filmmaking, featuring Oscar Award winning VFX artist, in additiom from local companies such as Are Films, the italian national broadcaster and local academic institutions. 19:30 - Showcase & Awards 🏆The best projects are screened live and a winner for each category is crowned and premiered on site! Prompt2Screen is organized by VIA AI Group as part of the VIA network's Italian Tech Week program in Turin.
