Retro Computing Experience

On the occasion of Wave, MuPIn – the Piedmont Museum of Computing presents an off-programme event dedicated to the history of computing and the exchange of ideas. The event is also part of the A Bit of [hi]story programme and will be hosted at FEAT House. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover and use a selection of computers and consoles from the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s—an interactive journey through the technologies, video games and devices that shaped the evolution of the digital world. The exhibition will be accompanied by a networking aperitivo (cost of food and drinks not included), offering an informal opportunity for enthusiasts, professionals, curious visitors and industry figures to meet and exchange ideas. The event is free and open to everyone. The venue is wheelchair accessible, and bar service will be available upstairs. --- In occasione di Wave, il MuPIn – Museo Piemontese dell’Informatica propone un evento off dedicato alla storia dell’informatica e alla condivisione, facente parte anche del programma di A Bit of [hi]story ed ospitato negli spazi di FEAT House. Il pubblico potrà scoprire e utilizzare una selezione di computer e console degli anni Settanta, Ottanta e Novanta: un percorso interattivo tra tecnologie, videogiochi e dispositivi che hanno segnato l’evoluzione del digitale. L’esposizione sarà accompagnata da un aperitivo di networking (costo della consumazione non incluso), pensato come momento informale d’incontro e confronto tra appassionati, professionisti, curiosi e protagonisti del settore. L’evento sarà gratuito e aperto a tutti. Gli spazi sono accessibili alle persone con disabilità. Al piano superiore sarà attivo il servizio bar.
