Discover contemporary jewellery as a medium for ideas, identity and social reflection during Venice Design Week 2026. Meet the Designers | I DON’T SHINE. I have something to say The event invites visitors to look at contemporary jewellery beyond ornament and discover its potential as a form of expression, research and communication. The meeting offers an opportunity to engage directly with the designers and explore the ideas, personal stories and social reflections that inspire the works presented in the exhibition. The project approaches jewellery as a language capable of addressing identity, memory and contemporary issues through materials, forms and wearable objects. Participants can expect an informal conversation with the designers, gaining a closer understanding of the creative processes and concepts behind the selected pieces. As in the previous edition, the Meet the Designers format is conceived as a moment of direct dialogue between authors and the public. The event is part of Venice Design Week 2026. Date & Time 11 October 2026, 10:30 AM Address Libreria Tlon – Fondazione Querini Stampalia Campiello Santa Maria Formosa 5252, Venice How to reach the event From Piazzale Roma "F", take ACTV vaporetto line 2 and get off at Rialto. From there, Fondazione Querini Stampalia is a short walk (10 min) towards Campo Santa Maria Formosa or from Piazzale Roma "B", take line 5.1 and get off at S. Marco - S. Zaccaria, then walk 7 minutes. Booking is required to attend the Meet the Designers event. If all places are already booked, you may be added to the waiting list. The I DON’T SHINE exhibition, hosted in the Wonder Q Room at Fondazione Querini Stampalia, can also be visited without reservation from 9 to 25 October, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
