Benjamín Franklin 151-A, Hipódromo Condesa, CDMX #Hashtag Gallery presents "Dirt" a new collection of artworks by Mexican artist Wina Obake. Dirt is the substance that makes up the dry surfaces of our planet. We’re constantly digging in the dirt, planting seeds and pulling weeds. Dirt is also this alien, who exists without any complication, who’s been created and evolving since around the year 2015. Comes from wanting to express the feeling of alienation but also flowing through life with it. I believe we are all aliens at some point in our lives but still struggle to just embrace it. Español: Dirt (tierra, mugre, lodo) es la sustancia que compone todas las superficies secas de nuestro planeta. Estamos constantemente cavando la tierra, sembrando semillas y cortando hierbas. Dirt también es este alien, que existe sin complicación, que ha sido creado y ha ido evolucionando desde, al rededor de, el año 2015. Viene de querer expresar este sentimiento de sentirse un alien (ajeno, raro) pero fluyendo a través de la vida a pesar de. Creo que todos somos aliens en algún punto de nuestra vida pero aún nos es difícil abrazarlo
