We welcome you to our Tasting Experience: 60 minutes of immersion led by an expert Female Master Mezcalera, trained directly by the master artisans of Oaxaca. Forget boring lectures or dry lists of facts; this is an approachable, sensory conversation filled with local legends inside our cozy showroom. What will you learn during the session? We will start by understanding the true essence of mezcal beyond the label. You will discover the different maguey varieties that give mezcal its signature notes, the ancestral crafting techniques preserved to this day, and how alcohol content and aging time define each label’s unique personality. Then, you will dive into the tasting itself: you will learn the exact steps to evaluate a pour like a true professional—from nose and aroma appreciation to identifying subtle flavor notes and ideal pairings—while tasting a curated selection of five varieties: • Espadín: The essential reference point—versatile with a balanced profile. • Pechuga: A ceremonial style crafted with complex, aromatic layers. • Añejo: Smooth and rounded with rich notes from barrel aging. • Tobalá: Wild, exclusive, and considered a true botanical gem. • Madrecuishe: A powerful agave with distinct, earthy accents.
