You’ll learn simple clues to look for — from the way the wax is applied to the way the motif appears on the cloth — and discover how to tell how a piece was actually made. Bring along your own batik and put your new detective skills to the test. Is it tulis, cap or print? By the end of the session, you’ll have a better eye for what you’re looking at — and hopefully never look at batik quite the same way again. Includes an exclusive Batik Pin.
