An Evening of Historic Hymns by Acts 1:8 Collective

Following the success of the 2025 edition of An Evening of Yoruba Hymns, which brought believers together in worship and raised funds for mission work, this year’s gathering builds on that foundation with a clearer missional focus. Inspired by Acts 1:8—the call to be witnesses “in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth”—An Evening of Historic Hymns 2026 invites us to worship together and help carry the gospel further. Join us for an unforgettable evening featuring beloved historic hymns through congregational worship, choir-led renditions and orchestral performances. Hear stories of lives and communities being reached through mission work, and discover how your participation and giving can strengthen those taking the gospel to communities across Nigeria and beyond. This year’s fundraiser will support the Great Commission Movement of Nigeria (GCMN) and mission students at the Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary. The event is hosted by the Acts 1:8 Collective—a community of Christian entrepreneurs, investors, professionals and partners committed to building a sustainable and accountable funding engine for gospel mission across Africa. Come worship with us, hear stories from the mission field and help carry the gospel to the ends of the earth. Learn more about the Acts 1:8 Collective.
