Reflect & Share: Relationships After Motherhood

An in-person gathering for moms to reflect on relationships after motherhood through guided conversation and journaling. Reflect & Share: Relationships After Motherhood is an reflection session for moms exploring how motherhood can change relationships. Motherhood can affect relationships with partners, friends and family, and may bring feelings of being misunderstood or less supported. In this small, welcoming space, moms can pause, connect and reflect on these changes, what they may be feeling beneath the surface, and what they need moving forward. What to expect • Guided conversations about relationships after motherhood • Time for personal reflection and journaling • Sharing experiences and finding recognition in one another • A welcoming space to explore thoughts and feelings • Snacks & drinks The session is guided by Amber de Koning, an orthopedagogue MSc, mother of two and youth care professional. There is no pressure to share more than you feel comfortable with: no judgment or expectations, just an opportunity to listen, reflect and connect with other moms who may understand. Come as you are; you don’t need the right words or all the answers.
