Bhakti Space Amsterdam: Friday Kirtan Night

A bi-monthly Friday gathering for collective chanting, ancient philosophy, and shared vegetarian dinner Bhakti Space Amsterdam invites you to join us for an evening of collective chanting, sacred sound, and community. Whether you are a regular practitioner or curious about your first experience, our space is open to everyone. What is Kirtan? Kirtan is a powerful form of Mantra Meditation—a practice of call-and-response chanting that has been used for centuries to still the mind and open the heart. It is a Sound Journey where melody and rhythm become a bridge to inner peace. You don’t need to be a singer or have any prior experience; the collective sound carries the meditation, allowing you to move beyond the busy-ness of daily life into a state of deep connection and stillness. The Flow of the Evening 1. Kirtan & Mantra Meditation We begin with an immersive sound journey. Through the repetition of sacred mantras, we create a collective energy that helps release stress and invites a sense of inner calm. 2. Philosophy: Ancient Wisdom, Modern Mind Between the chanting, we dive into a short, practical talk on ancient philosophy. We explore timeless concepts through a rational lens, offering insights you can apply directly to your modern life. 3. Community Connection We conclude the night by sharing light snacks and tea. This is a relaxed space to connect, share reflections, and meet like-minded people in a supportive environment. Registration is donation-based. Get your ticketds TODAY!
