The Lacho Kings' Concert + Latin Gypsy Jam

A night of highly danceable fusion of Latin and Gypsy music: Concert, followed by jam session! The Lacho Kings return to the Tanker with another unforgettable night of fiery fusion and ultrahigh degrees of danceability. They prepared another tantalizing show, including several new songs, and invited singer Mónica Barraza ("Entre Los Arcos"). After that, the party goes on with a jam session: Afro-Latin-Balkan-Carpathian-Gitano-Gypsy-Jazz-Beat-Turbo-Pop-Folk, you name it: it all blends together under the loving moderation of our saxiest Lacho King, Janfie van Strien. 20:00 Doors open 20:30 Lacho Kings 22:00 Jam Session # About The Lacho Kings Coming from places as far as Kazakhstan, Chile and Zaandam, the hottest Latin Gypsy band of Amsterdam follows a flammable recipe: A Latin rhythm section, Balkan winds, a cimbalon, cheeky lyrics in several languages - all stirred and served with schwung. With inspiration ranging from Buena Vista Social Club to Mahala Rai Banda to Vera Bila to the Gypsy Kings, these guys brew a groove that causes some serious boogaloo on the dancefloors. # About The Latin Gypsy Jam The Lacho Kings love to mix and exchange inspiration with like-minded musicians, so we look forward to jamming after our concert!
