What does AI cost?Energy, water, data, social consequences, governance questions - the answers are complex!|This session tackles the true cost of AI through a practical, accessible lens, looking beyond hype and productivity gains to examine the environmental, social, and economic implications of AI use. The goal is not to make people feel guilty for using AI, but to help them better understand the systems they rely on and make more informed choices about how they use them in their work. The session combines awareness-building with hands-on examples, including ways to make AI usage more tangible through simple tracking tools, comparisons, and discussion prompts that attendees can take back to their own organizations.
