New Narrative Salon

In moments like these, it is often writers, artists, thinkers, and other creative minds who help us find language for what we can sense, but cannot yet fully articulate. That is the idea behind New Narrative Salon: a recurring evening in Amsterdam created by Dragonfly Publishing and Canal Clubhouse, bringing together people who are curious about the stories, ideas, and perspectives that might shape what comes next. After a first edition filled with inspiring conversations, unexpected connections, creative energy, and people generously sharing their work, we’re gathering again on 28 October for the second edition of the Salon. At the heart of the evening is one question: Who writes the new narrative? New Narrative Salon is part talk, part creative gathering, and part open space for exchange. Each edition invites an inspiring guest speaker to share their perspective, followed by room to meet, discuss, write, think, and exchange ideas with others. But the Salon isn’t only about listening. We want you to bring something too. Bring a piece of writing you’re working on. A half-formed idea. A question you can’t stop thinking about. A project you want to share. Or simply your curiosity. Whether you’re a writer, artist, maker, thinker, storyteller, or someone who loves being around people exploring new ideas, you’re welcome. Our guest speaker for this edition will be announced soon. Leave with a new perspective. ✨ About Canal Clubhouse Canal Clubhouse is a living room on the canals. Located on the Krom Boomssloot, one minute from Nieuwmarkt. During the day our venue is used by teams for offsites, strategy days and board sessions. In the evening, the space becomes a place to connect, get inspired and feel empowered.
