Join us for an immersive experience for curious eyes and ears in the heart of the Hague, and the new venue for contemporary music practices and related arts 20.00 - 20.45h Jaap Blonk (NL), voice and Elisabeth Harnik (AT), piano, objects Expressiveness and abstraction, primal sounds and tongue-twisting linguistic experiments, interpretation and spontaneity: this is what the musical collaboration between Dutch sound poet and vocalist Jaap Blonk and Austrian pianist and composer Elisabeth Harnik promises. video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KpXc0VKE7so 21.00 - 21.45h 10.000 Peacock Feathers in Foaming Acid one-of-a-kind collaboration between artists Evelina Domnich and Dmitry Gelfand, and musicians Richard Barrett and Milana Zarić. A laser enters the skin of a soap bubble (the liquid crystal ancestor of a cellular membrane) and splits up into microscopic optical tracks. During the performance, these filamentous tracks meander through clusters of hemispherical bubbles, which serve as molecule-thin lenses for a 360° laser projection.
