Slow down, quieten down, connect with nature- by focusing on your sensory experience in the present moment in this urban forest. Enjoy calming down, slowing down and connecting to the natural world - through focussing on your sensory experience in the present moment. This is a "taster session" of 90 minutes in Leiden's own, easy-to-reach urban forest. Forest bathing, or bosbad, is also know as Shinrin Yoku. It was first developed in Japan in the 1980s, as based on scientific evidence that being immersed in nature is beneficial to your health.
