Escamp Art Festival 2026 — FREE Festival at Leyweg Get ready for a full afternoon of art, music, dance, creativity and culture at the Escamp Art Festival on Saturday, 26 September 2026 at Winkelcentrum Leyweg in The Hague. After last year’s success, the festival returns with more than 40 free activities for children, adults, families and visitors of all ages. Throughout the day, you can enjoy live music, dance performances, creative workshops, street theatre and plenty of opportunities to participate yourself. What can you expect? Across different stages and areas of Leyweg, theprograme includes: Main Stage Live music, entertainment, dance and workshops with artists including Steven Kazán, Brassbands The Legendairs & Rhythm Allstars, De Wijkmuzikanten, Chicco, YourStage Urban, Latin Soul Dance and Masalsa. Dance Stage Enjoy performances from Bhangra Evolution, Charelle Hoeps, Latin Soul Dance, A.S. Dance Group, Grupo Ban Pé and Abovian. Kerktuin A creative area filled with hands-on activities, including instrument-making, clay workshops, art activities, a book treasure hunt, and performances by Rockodonts artists. Leyweg Plaza Discover workshops and activities including woodworking, drumming, drawing, stamping, mandala making, calligraphy, paper marbling, music-making and hula hoop activities. Latin Soul Dance at the festival Latin Soul Dance will also bring Latin rhythm and culture to Leyweg: 14:00–14:30 | Performance A colorful celebration of Cumbia, bringing rhythm, movement, and Latin culture to the Dance Stage. 15:45–16:30 | Workshop Join an accessible Latin dance workshop and discover fun steps inspired by rhythms such as Merengue and Salsa. No previous dance experience is needed — everyone is welcome.
