Natural Dye Repair & Rework workshop

✺ Cover stains by naturally dyeing your garment ✺ Create and use your own naturally dyed fabric patches as decoration ✺ Repair holes using embroidery techniques You can choose your own colours from our sample book of natural dyes and create something truly unique. Along the way, you’ll learn more about sustainable textile practices and different ways to repair and rework your clothing. The workshop includes: ✺ A short introduction to natural dyes, fibres and fabrics ✺ A 3-hour guided workshop The only thing you need to bring is one old garment that you’d like to repair, alter or give a new life. Please note: If you would like to dye your garment, it’s important to consider the material. Natural dyes are not suitable for synthetic or chemically processed fabrics, such as polyester and viscose. For the best results, we recommend fabrics made from 100% natural fibres, such as organic cotton, linen, silk or hemp.
