Poetry Playground: MOVE & CONNECT with nature

What happens when we slow down and let our bodies lead us towards a different way of connecting with nature? In a world shaped by screens, speed and productivity, our attention is often pulled towards what needs to be done next. We spend so much time thinking, analysing, and looking at the world that we can forget to pause, sense and experience it. What happens when we slow down and let our bodies lead us towards a different way of connecting with nature? Poetry Playground × DSDA Dynamic invites you to an evening of movement and poetry and art to explore our connection with nature in new ways. Through guided movement, we'll discover how nature can inspire us, then translate our experiences into colours, flows and words. Together, we'll explore what happens when we step away from our usual routines and experience the natural world around and within us. Curious to experience nature through your senses? You're warmly invited to join us! No previous experience with any of these art forms is needed. Just bring your curiosity and an openness to experiment. All creative materials will be provided. Feel free to bring a small pillow or cushion to make yourself comfortable in the space. About the hosts Poetry Playground is a creative workshop series led by Alice Biolchini at TU Delft’s Studium Generale. It explores societal topics by combining poetry with different art forms, such as watercolour, drawing, stamping, movement and sound. Through hands-on and embodied experiences, participants explore ideas and perspectives in new ways. D.S.D.A. Dynamic is the Delft Student Dance Association at TU Delft. It brings together students who share a passion for dance, offering a range of styles including urban, modern, ballet, jazz and breakdance, as well as opportunities to learn, practice, and connect through dance. Come move, explore and connect with us!
